Vancouverite GEOFF BERNER's Mint Records debut, Victory Party, will emerge on March 8th, 2011, and to celebrate it's release, he is making a stop here at the Marquee Room. His openness to experimentation, spirited Eastern European klezmer influences, punk rock attitude and work with producer/mastermind Josh Dolgin (Socalled) resulted an an innovative, engaging and lively album full of surprises.

Joining him will be his pal and Calgary's favorite singer/songwriter/poet/shit disturber, KRIS DEMEANOR. His music draws on classic folk story telling, spoken word/rap, and shamelessly hooky pop, which both complicates things for all involved and makes them more interesting.
