 Calgary's JOHN RUTHERFORD has had a busy winter. Quick on the heels of the release of his debut solo record, "Echo Broadcast" in January, the album found itself in the top 10 of the national Earshot Roots/Blues chart, and at #1 on CKUA radio, all while he was on the road, playing a rigourous schedule of shows. Formerly of NO GUFF and the HOODOO SONS, and a current member of THE HIGHWATER JUG BAND, John is wrapping up his inaugural solo tour with a show at the Marquee Room, with his backing band, The Legislative Assembly in tow.
