Film Synopsis: Mike and Joel are long-time friends from Calgary. After university, with little more than $30,000 in savings and a desire to see the world, they buy a 33' sailboat in San Francisco and begin the adventure of a lifetime. Their 14 month journey aboard Selah II forces them to adapt to life on a small boat in a very big ocean. They learn to live in community, to overcome a never-ending string of mechanical problems, and to endure the pain of surrendered dreams. But through it all, they experience some of the remotest locations on Earth, encounter beauty they never imagined, and build friendships to last a lifetime.

Biography/Filmography: Founded in 2005, Selah Films is a Calgary-based co-operative film partnership that helps people tell their adventure experiences through film. Selah vie is the first feature-length project for Selah Films, Director Aaron Janzen and Producer Graham Nelson.

Previous films won Best Amateur Film and Honourable Mention at the 2010 Waterwalker Film Festival and were choosen as official selections at 2010 Reel Paddling Film Festival World Tour.
